In honour Canada's 150th anniversary, 3D will have “Canada 150” stitched on their game jerseys. The team will be presented as 3D Global Sports Canada at this year’s 39th William Jones Cup.
HEAD COACH
3D announced Kyle Julius as Head Coach for the Canada 150 team at the 39th William Jones Cup. Kyle was recently named 2017 Coach of Year and won a Championship with the London Lighting of the National Basketball League of Canada.

About The Tournament
The William Jones Cup is an officially sanctioned FIBA Asia Cup tournament. The tournament will be covered by Eurobasket with stats and profiles available for each nation. The William Jones Cup will air on major television and broadcast platforms across Asia, Oceania and the Middle-East. The tournament will be played in-front of thousands of fans in the 10,000 seat arena which was solely built for the launch of the 39th William Jones Cup.

In recent years, the William Jones Cup has had participation of former NBA players Andray Blatche (drafted by the Washington Wizards), Al Thornton (former 1st Round, 14th Pick, by the Los Angeles Clippers), both playing for the Philippines and Hamed Haddadi (Memphis Grizzles) who won MVP for the 2015 Williams Jones Cup, with the Iran National Team.
Previous winners, Philippines (2016) and Iran (2015), will be back competing alongside rising national teams of India and Iraq. Japan and South Korea will prove to be extremely tough opponents as their commitment to improve their national team’s standings have been internationally apparent. 3D Global Sports Canada and Lithuania’s Atletas All-stars are both first time participants in the William Jones Cup. The Lithuanian team will be comprised of 1st league (LKL) experienced players and led by Lithuanian coaching legend, Virginijus Seskus.
